How Claimr works

The idea

Claimr takes the trading formats known from Danish Facebook groups — auctions, claim drops and fixed price — and puts them on a platform with built-in fraud protection. You claim the card, and it lands safely in the nest.

Escrow on every trade

When you buy, Claimr holds the money until you've received the card and confirmed everything is as described. Only then is the amount released to the seller. No paying strangers up front, no 'trust me'.

The three trading formats

Auction: Highest bid wins. Bids in the final minutes extend the auction (soft close), so nobody can snipe the win in the last second.

Claim-drop: The seller posts a batch of cards; you claim the ones you want (first come, first served, with waiting queues). When the drop closes you pay for all your claims together — one cart, one shipping fee.

Fixed price: Buy now — or make an offer if the seller has enabled offers/counter-offers (OBO).

Binding trades and strikes

Bids and claims are binding. Failing to pay earns a strike — three strikes within 12 months means quarantine. The same applies to sellers cancelling a trade with bids or claims. The rules are the same for everyone, and that's what makes prices trustworthy.

The catalog and prices

The catalog covers every international set from Base Set to today — cards in five languages plus sealed products. Price data is exclusively Claimr's own active listings and completed sales; we never show prices from other platforms.

🥚The platform is in an early phase: payment is simulated while the trading flow is being tested. Real payments (Stripe) and MitID verification are on the way.
