Terms of trade

1. Binding trades

A bid in an auction, a claim in a drop and an accepted offer are binding purchase agreements. Likewise, a listing with active bids or claims is binding on the seller — it cannot be withdrawn.

2. Strike system

Failing to pay for a won auction or a claim triggers a strike. Three strikes within 12 months result in quarantine from the platform. Sellers cancelling binding trades are sanctioned under the same system.

3. Escrow

All payments run through Claimr's escrow: the buyer pays the platform, the seller ships the card, and the amount is released to the seller once the buyer confirms receipt. If the buyer doesn't confirm within the deadline and no dispute is opened, the amount is released automatically.

4. Claim drops

In a claim drop, cards are reserved first come, first served, with waiting queues. When the drop closes, all your claims are paid together within the deadline chosen by the seller (12/24/48 hours). An unpaid cart at the deadline = a strike, and the cards pass to the queue.

5. Disputes

If the card isn't as described, the buyer opens a dispute before the confirmation deadline. The seller's own photos from the listing serve as evidence. Claimr decides the dispute and can refund via escrow.

6. Off-platform trading

Attempting to move a trade off Claimr (e.g. direct payment apps) is prohibited and may lead to exclusion. Messages are automatically monitored for such patterns — the escrow is what protects both parties.

7. Early phase

The platform is in testing: payment is simulated and no real money transfers take place. These terms will be updated before commercial operation opens.
